Glorious Unfolding
BLOGGING - BLEH
I really don't enjoy blogging. In fact, I love to write but I'd rather write a song or a poem than a blog post. I have found, however, that sometimes I have something to say. It may not be much so I keep it as short as possible.
CHURCHES STRUGGLING
On my mind today are churches that are struggling to reach the plane of worship where congregants commune with the true and living God and are freed from the bondage they normally carry. WHAT? WE'RE SUPPOSED TO BE FREE?
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. -- John 8:34-36
FREEDOM
Clearly, we are to be free - free from depression, sadness, complacency, apathy, burden, strife - ALL THINGS NEGATIVE. Freedom doesn't mean we don't go through things. We do. Freedom means we recognize them, go through them and have joy anyway because we know that God, our Abba Father, is in control and truly has our best interest at heart. Yes, life can be hard... ridiculously hard at times. We wonder if it's all truly a part of God's plan. Let me assure you. We are all part of God's amazing plan. There is a "Glorious Unfolding" in store for each of our lives as He weaves the narrative of our lifetimes.
To my sweet friend, Marietta, this is for you.
For all of you who are reading this today, embrace your GLORIOUS UNFOLDING!
