Peace in the Midst of the Storm
Isn't it interesting how life throws you a curve ball now and then? How we respond to what happens to us is the best indication of our character. Our character is often shaped by "The Refiner's Fire" which removes all impurities so that the pure gold is left.
A new year has arrived. What are you struggles? What are your fears? What does this new year mean for you?
As we enter 2013, what defines and who refines you? Do you strive to be the best you can be? Are you making every effort to be a light in a dark place? Is your glass half-full or half-empty?
God is goodness, kindness, love and mercy. God is grace and sufficiency and knowledge. God is faithfulness and comfort. God is our everything.
Relax into Him. Be loved by Him. Love Him. Bless Him. Glorify Him. When all else seems to go the way you don't want it to go, trust Him. He knows what is best. As Pastor said Sunday, "He is sometimes early, but He is never late."
Thank God for the "Peace in the Midst of the Storm."
