Shelbyville - Great Praise

This past Sunday night, September 18th, I drove down to Shelbyville, Tennessee with a couple of friends to do a Praise and Worship concert.  I had never been to this church but I knew the pastor and knew that he has a heart for God and for God's people.

We arrived to find a quaint little church in a not so small town.  Better than that, we found people of all ages who love the Lord and have a desire to do what He would have them to do.  We did our concert which blended old and new and the people worshiped and praised the Almighty God.  What a blessing it was to be among God's people and to share in worship!

I think what I enjoyed most was that, though we were very different, they embraced me and loved me and appreciated what we brought to that small church.  We look forward to being with them again very soon.

It really reminded me that though we may be strangers, we are ALL the family of God!
